Astraea Guitar Workshop 2020



7 of March, 2020 from 10 am - 9 pm Foxton Village Hall (Hardman Road CB22 6RN)

This all day workshop features Raymond Burley and Valerie Hartzell, as the Astraea Guitar Duo, with guitar orchestra rehearsals, technique classes, and small ensemble master classes. There is only room for 8 groups to perform in the master classes; each group will receive 30 min (all types of groups welcome  - duos, trios, quartets, quintets, etc). 

The day starts with tea, coffee, fruit & various pastries before our first event of the day (provided by Ray and Valérie). At lunch, we will all commute together to a local restaurant (or, participants can bring their own lunches).

Participants are asked to bring a packed light dinner (we will have tea, coffee with biscuits available). We only have an 45 minutes to eat before the dress rehearsal & concert. So, brown bag your dinner.

At the evening concert, small ensembles, Astraea Guitar Duo, and the guitar orchestra will perform in the evening which will be open to the public.

Tuition: £35 (includes all teas/coffees plus registration light breakfast of fruit & pastries)

Master class: £10 

Tickets to concert: £5 (free to festival participants & their partners): 7:30 pm
